On June 13, OUTSCALE invited all those who follow digital news in France and Europe, and want to keep abreast of the opportunities presented by cloud computing technologies, to join its ecosystem for a day. It was the 9th edition of CLOUD DAYS, OUTSCALE’s flagship event, but a very special one as it marked a new chapter in the history of the company. Indeed, OUTSCALE has become a Dassault Systèmes brand.
A New Strategy Announced
A new strategy was unveiled on stage by Philippe Miltin, CEO, Arnaud Bertrand, CTO & SVP Cloud R&D, Jérôme Sandrini, OUTSCALE Chief Revenue Officer, and Raja Chiky, Director of Alliances & CSR, accompanied by the host, a Journalist Marion Moreau.
As announced by Philippe Miltin, CEO of OUTSCALE, during the Plenary, OUTSCALE will now operate all Dassault Systèmes platforms, including the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, ITEROP (business process management) and Medidata, helping to deploy the company’s vision of being the first sovereign and sustainable operator of Trusted Business Experience as-a-Service.
OUTSCALE, present on all continents where Dassault Systèmes operates, will be able to operate Dassault Systèmes platforms worldwide, and will double in size in order to meet the needs of Medidata alone. Medidata is the world leader in clinical trials, with nearly 30,000 clinical trials and a database of 9 million patients.
Offering Advanced Sovereign Cloud Solutions
OUTSCALE is today one of the few players able to offer an end-to-end sovereign solution. The new roadmap, with sovereignty and sustainability at its core, is designed to meet the needs of the market: the public sector, banking and insurance, and the healthcare sector, with the new version of OUTSCALE Marketplace and strategic partners such as NumSpot.
NumSpot, the Cloud offering signed by the 100% French consortium (Docaposte, Dassault Systèmes, Bouygues Telecom and Banque des Territoires) and based on OUTSCALE’s infrastructure qualified SecNumCloud by ANSSI, aims to offer managed services, containers, service platforms, SaaS, and other expected services in a sovereign and secure environment. Alain Issarni, Executive Director of NumSpot, joined Philippe Miltin on stage to talk about the expectations held by organizations, now more attentive to the subject of sensitive data, which continues to evolve (particularly for the public sector) with the State’s “Cloud at the center” doctrine.

Going back to another central topic of the day, Business Experience, Philippe Miltin invited Aurélien Codet De Boisse, ITEROP’s Director, to share with us, through a few use-cases, how Business Process (a component of Business Experience) can benefit any type of organization.

With healthcare at the heart of OUTSCALE’s strategy, it was essential to highlight the opportunities we have to work with organizations in this vital sector. Announcement of Partnership with PNB Paribas
The acquisition of Innova, a Regtech solution that leverages artificial intelligence to automate investment compliance checks, and the long-term partnership with BNP Paribas, Europe’s leading custodian bank managing nearly 12,000 billion in assets. “The aim is to offer a Business Experience solution based on the know-how of Dassault Systèmes and OUTSCALE to BNP Paribas Security Services and other customers, and to turn it into industrial software for the financial sector,” explained Philippe Miltin.
