“There can be no sustainable growth without the support of the right ecosystem of partners and the relevant community of experts,” begins Jérôme Sandrini, OUTSCALE’s Chief Revenue Officer, during CLOUD DAYS plenary session, before going on to describe the progress of projects aimed at enriching our ecosystem, a vital step to pursue our joint growth and success.
OUTSCALE distinguishes three types: technology partners, integrators and software publishers present on its marketplace. Four of them were invited to join Jérôme Sandrini on stage to present current joint projects.
OUTSCALE Supports your Customers’ Digital Transformation Projects
Sylvain Chevrier, Chief Cloud Officer, Aeroline Group, Sopra Steria, described the new partnership between OUTSCALE and the French group, one of Europe’s leaders in digital transformation. Seduced by the guarantees provided by SecNumCloud qualification and the possibility of supporting European customers throughout their subsidiaries worldwide, thanks to OUTSCALE’s presence outside Europe.
Hélène Bringer, VP Public Sector at Eviden, joined Jérôme Sandrini on stage to present the Atos Group’s business line specializing in digital transformation, cybersecurity, Cloud, data and some critical defense activities. She also spoke about the importance of digital sovereignty, trusted Cloud and security for public sector and healthcare customers: “We’re seeing a change in the maturity of our public sector customers, an awareness, through use cases and new applications, in terms of modernizing their applications and using the Cloud.” Among the reasons cited: the flexibility that the Cloud brings, the technologies, but also the resilience and end-to-end availability of data.
Relying on Innovative, Open-Source French Solutions
For the next announcement, Julien Niedergang from Suse took to the stage to present the Rancher open source solution for managing Kubernetes clusters, and to illustrate with a demo of deployment on an OUTSCALE environment using Rancher. “A container orchestrator is the way to make a container producible with production qualities, resilience, scalability and so on. That’s our main goal: to make containers simple for you,” shares Julien Niedergang. “Rancher is a European company. We defend European values, its sovereignty, and OUTSCALE also brings in the security,” he continues.
Facilitating Access to the Best Services and Turnkey Solutions Available on the OUTSCALE Cloud
The last guest to join Jérôme Sandrini on stage was Pierre-Yves Hentzen, CEO of Stormshield, an OUTSCALE Marketplace partner. The Marketplace is a group of editors who form an ecosystem around OUTSCALE, accelerating adoption of the platform by customers who need a secure, trusted Cloud. These include collaborative, development, messaging or network platforms, cybersecurity solutions and more. “Our customers can come to OUTSCALE marketplace and buy their licenses directly, provision them, deploy them, install them in their environment”. The new one-stop-shop version will enable this to be done through a single interface.
Stormshield is a French company, an independent subsidiary of Airbus, and France’s leading pure-play cybersecurity vendor, operating in three areas: network security, desktop security and data security. “With OUTSCALE, we share common values, in this case our French, European origin, and notions of trust, transparency, respect and freedom. The freedom for our customers to make their own choices”, he adds.
