Securing Kubernetes Platform Administration with the GitSecOps Methodology

by Anthony Colas

The GitSecOps methodology developed by SATELLIZ provides an approach to securing the administration of Kubernetes platforms, a field with numerous technical and organizational challenges.

During the 2022 CLOUD DAYS event, organized by OUTSCALE, Frédéric Jaffrès, CTO, and Roman KUTYIN, Founder and R&D Director at SATELLIZ, discussed how SATELLIZ secures Kubernetes platform administration through its GitSecOps methodology.

Today, many IT teams aim to deploy and maintain their Cloud platforms, built around Kubernetes technology, continuously around the clock, often relying on IaaS or PaaS solutions from Cloud providers.

However, as discussed last week, several major issues need to be addressed to effectively and securely operate these Kubernetes platforms: technical complexity, the diversity of stakeholders, and the demands of 24/7 operation.

For several years, SATELLIZ has been assisting its clients in maintaining the operational condition of their Cloud and Kubernetes platforms, leveraging its GitSecOps methodology to address these specific challenges. By recently joining OUTSCALE, SATELLIZ strengthens OUTSCALE’s leadership in the Cloud with the addition of new Kubernetes services.

Join us on September 17th as we revisit OUTSCALE’s ambitions for its managed services offering, featuring highly secure Kubernetes solutions!
